I Am Not Anyone's Man... When I Am No Longer Useful Here, I Will Go to Yerablur and Be the Guardian There. Areyan
Areyan has not had any complaints against him yet, I am doing my job: This was stated by Kamo Areyan, advisor to the Mayor of Yerevan, in an interview with Hraparak.
“I am what I am and I will remain so.”
When asked if he is satisfied with the work of the city authorities, he mentioned that there are many shortcomings, many things to do, and that satisfaction only exists in movies and textbooks.
“I do not belong to any political force, I have no political affiliation,” he added.
Referring to the work of the city authorities, he specifically noted: “I have been working under the 10th mayor. Yes, all mayors have had their own distinctive style, and important changes have happened during their tenures. There are issues that require a long time to resolve.”
When asked why all governments have spared him, he responded, “I have never watered down my work to hide. I am the child of my parents and I am no one's man. No leader or authority can say that Kamo Areyan has been appointed or supported by them. I work for the capital, for the state. As long as I am needed, my reason will allow me to continue working... When I am no longer useful here, I will head straight to Yerablur, to be its guardian.”
