Turkey Records Aftershock with Magnitude of 4.6
Today, an aftershock with a magnitude of 4.6 has occurred in Kahramanmaraş province in southeastern Turkey, as reported by TRT Haber citing РИА новости.
“An aftershock of magnitude 4.6 was recorded in Kahramanmaraş,” the broadcaster reported.
There are currently no reports of destruction. It is worth noting that on February 6, earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6 struck Kahramanmaraş province within a span of 9 hours. The seismic shocks, which were followed by hundreds of aftershocks, were felt across 10 provinces and in neighboring areas, including Syria. According to the latest data, over 35,000 people have died in Turkey.
