VIDEO: There’s an impression that the most lawless in Yerevan are the villagers, says MP about slogans

Mathevos Asatryan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, addressed the issue of street trading during a session of the National Assembly.

“I have the impression that the most lawless people in Yerevan are the villagers. This has simply become a slogan. When a villager produces goods, they know where to sell them. I can say that the most law-abiding person is the villager, who knows where to sell their product and to whom. As for the goods sold on the streets, the majority are not sold by villagers; the villager brings them to designated areas, where they are purchased and sold on the street,” he noted.
