Confrontation with Police Officers Who Used Violence to Occur: Parents of Deceased Soldiers at the Investigative Committee

Parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war held a protest today, January 26, near the Investigative Committee building. A confrontation with police officers who used violence against them is scheduled for today.

"The confrontation will be with Arthur Khudinyan, the deputy chief of the police department of Yerevan," said lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan during a conversation with journalists.

Following an incident on September 21, 2022, at the Yerablur military pantheon, where violence was inflicted upon the parents of the fallen soldiers, a criminal case was initiated. Five months have passed, and no one has faced legal accountability as a result of this criminal proceeding.
