Fire Breaks Out at Armenian Church in Istanbul, Casualties Reported

A fire has broken out at the Armenian Catholic Church of St. Savior in Istanbul, resulting in two reported fatalities. This information has been shared by EurAsia Daily, citing Turkish media sources.

It has been noted that Mustafa Demiryalin, the head of the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, and Levon Zekiyan, the spiritual leader of the Turkish Armenian Catholic community, visited the site of the fire.

According to statements from the Istanbul governor's office, four individuals have been evacuated, while another two have been hospitalized. Currently, there is no information regarding the fate of two others who were inside the church at the time of the fire.

Firefighters and rescue teams are continuing their efforts at the scene.
