Chilling Details: Soldiers Attempted to Escape from Barracks, but Fire Was Right at the Entrance

It turns out that a wooden stove was installed in the barracks, which was located near the entrance. At the time of the strong fire outbreak, the service members were outside, while the personnel inside were asleep, reports Sputnik.

As the fire was very intense, some of the sleeping soldiers suffered from smoke inhalation, while others tried to escape; however, they were unable to do so because the fire was located right at the entrance. Meanwhile, the service members outside entered to assist their comrades, but they also became victims of the fire.

Several soldiers tried to escape through a window that was barred. Apparently, these were the injured soldiers.

Investigative actions at the scene have been completed. One of the victims’ parents, who arrived at the site to learn about their son, was informed there that their child had passed away.
