Armenia has called on the Council of Europe to compel Azerbaijan to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) decisions regarding the Lachin corridor. This was reported by the Armenian Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe on its Twitter page.
“Ambassador Khachatryan (Armen Khachatryan, Permanent Representative of Armenia to the Council of Europe) stated during the deputy ministers' meeting that Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor is leading to severe humanitarian consequences for Artsakh,” the statement from Armenia's representation at the Council of Europe reads.
Armenia urges the Committee of Ministers to take decisive steps to ensure Azerbaijan's compliance with the aforementioned interim measures of the ECtHR,” the message concludes.
