Protests in Turkey: Calls to Exit NATO
Protests have taken place in Turkey, where activists are demanding that the country withdraw from NATO. The demonstration in Ankara was organized by the Turkish Youth Union.
According to the party leader, Dogu Perinçek, the alliance poses a threat to the nation. “NATO and the USA are hostile towards Turkey. Let’s leave NATO. During the campaign, we will organize petitions for the relevant requests, as well as demonstrations and protests against the deployment of the alliance’s military bases in Turkey,” the party leader stated.
