Internet Restored in Artsakh: Mediators Involved in Resolving Issue Revealed

Thanks to negotiations conducted through the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in Artsakh, technical specialists from the company «Karabakh Telecom» were able to travel to the site of the damage and carry out the necessary work to restore the damaged part of the cable. This information was provided by the Artsakh information headquarters.

As of now, internet connectivity has been restored throughout the territory of the Republic of Artsakh.

It is noteworthy that since January 12, internet connectivity across the Republic of Artsakh had been disrupted due to damage to the only cable connecting Armenia to Artsakh.

According to data from the technical equipment of Artsakh's sole internet operator, «Karabakh Telecom», the cable was damaged in the section of the Lachin corridor where environmental agents from the Azerbaijani government have been deployed.
