VIDEO: Child Stops Communicating with Parent; Little One Doesn't Understand Parent Isn't Nearby Due to Blocked Road
Currently, a video conference titled "Artsakh: One Month of Blockade" is taking place, during which Artsakh National Assembly member Eleonora Avanesyan spoke about families that have been temporarily separated due to a blocked road.
Recall that on the morning of December 12, a group of Azerbaijanis dressed in civilian clothes blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway, connecting Artsakh to Armenia, under environmental pretenses at the intersection near Shushi-Karin Tak. As of December 13, the Azerbaijani side also shut off gas supplies to Artsakh.
On the morning of December 16, Artsakh's Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan announced that gas supplies had been restored in Artsakh, and this was done without any preconditions. Today marks the third day that the people of Artsakh have faced a new challenge due to an accident on the 33rd kilometer of the only high-voltage line that supplies electricity from Armenia to Artsakh, located in the Agavn and Berdzor area.
