All Preschool Institutions Operations Suspended in Artsakh

All preschool institutions in Artsakh will temporarily suspend their operations. This announcement comes from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Artsakh.

Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, the educational process in general education schools and preschool institutions will be organized as follows starting from January 9 of this year: The work of preschool institutions, preschool groups in general education schools, and full-day schools will be temporarily suspended due to insufficient food supply.

General education schools will continue to operate normally, according to the released statement.

Furthermore, additional information will be provided regarding the resumption of the interrupted educational process.

It is worth noting that since 10:30 am on December 12, the connection between the villages of Lisagor, Mets Shen, Hin Shen, and Yeghdzahogh in the Shushi region and the capital Stepanakert has been disrupted. A group of Azerbaijani individuals in civilian clothing has again blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway, citing environmental reasons.
