Today is My Brother's Birthday; He Has Endured Detention for a Year and Three Months, Says Pro-CPP MP about Davit Tonoyan

Today is my brother's birthday; he is already 55 years old, and he has endured detention for a year and three months. This was stated by Vilen Gabrielian, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract party, on his Facebook page, where he also posted a photo of former defense minister Davit Tonoyan.

He added, 'I won't specify what and why for the end; I don’t want them to say I mentioned it again, but one day I will say it, because the truth is such a phenomenon that, no matter what, it eventually comes to light—there is simply the right time for that.'

It is worth noting that a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Department of the National Security Service regarding alleged abuses in the process of acquiring military supplies, specifically concerning the procurement of substandard and unusable missiles. Within the framework of this criminal case, charges have been brought against seven individuals, including former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Artak Davtyan, former Deputy Chief of Staff Stepan Galstyan, and a businessman known as Patron Davo, who is involved in arms supply, Davit Galstyan; however, Galstyan is currently at liberty.
