"It Would Be Good to Accelerate This Work": Lavrov's Remarks at Meeting with Bayramov
Armenia and Azerbaijan need to seek opportunities for dialogue and pathways to a peace agreement. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the start of negotiations in Moscow with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
“Four trilateral statements have been approved, and work is underway on them, but of course, it would be good to accelerate this work. Whatever issues arise on the ground, I am convinced that it is particularly necessary to meet regularly, agree, strengthen trust, and prepare the ground for the resolution of all issues,” said the head of the Russian diplomatic service.
