We Must Be Prepared for All Scenarios: Ruben Vardanyan at the Operational Headquarters Meeting
The meeting of the operational headquarters, chaired by Ruben Vardanyan, the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, addressed the issues concerning the assurance of normal living conditions for the population in light of the situation created by Azerbaijan's blockade of Artsakh.
According to a report from the Information and Public Relations Department of the State Minister’s Office, Vardanyan noted that the road remains closed, and Artsakh has been under Azerbaijani blockade for the ninth day. He emphasized the importance of being prepared for all possible scenarios.
Prioritizing the issues of ensuring normal living conditions for the population, the state minister stressed the need for prompt responses to emerging challenges and the operational discussion of their solutions.
Meeting participants presented the current situation in their areas of responsibility, highlighting conditions in the markets for food products, medicines, gasoline, and diesel fuel. It was noted that constant monitoring is being conducted, issues are being documented, and efforts are being made to find quick and effective solutions.
Specifically, it was reported that there are sufficient reserves of flour in the republic, and there are no problems related to bread production. Some types of goods have also been provided to shops from the reserves available in the Agricultural Support Fund.
Emphasizing the importance of savings, the state minister instructed government agencies to minimize the number of gasoline-powered vehicles, giving preference to those powered by gas.
The meeting also covered the current situation regarding energy supply, water supply, and other infrastructure sectors, as well as the implementation of measures aimed at savings.
