The "Homeland" Party Issues a Statement
The "Homeland" Party fiercely condemns the latest reckless and provocative actions of the Azerbaijani side, which have for a long time been aimed at destabilizing the situation in the Republic of Artsakh. Under various artificial pretexts, Azerbaijan has kept the only road connecting Artsakh to the world closed for almost a day, deliberately creating a humanitarian disaster around the Republic of Artsakh, exhibiting behavior characteristic of a terrorist state.
By revealing its fascist and racist essence, the current Azerbaijani government is openly preparing for another genocide of our compatriots living in their homeland or, at best, for the depopulation of Artsakh. All this is happening against the backdrop of the Armenian authorities' criminal inaction and tacit acquiescence.
With reckless slogans claiming to open an era of "peace," while in reality leading to deadly consequences, the Armenian authorities are driving the Armenian people toward existential annihilation.
Moreover, the increasingly brazen and cynical actions of Azerbaijani provocateurs in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers, which grossly violate the provisions of the trilateral statement from November 9, 2020, raise additional concerns.
The extremely tense situation on the borders of Artsakh and Armenia once again confirms that the state's priorities must be built around the values of security, defense, and rapid reorganization of the army, directing the vital strength of the entire Armenian nation towards the sacred mission of protecting the borders of Artsakh and Armenia.
At this critical moment, we stand alongside the indomitable people of Artsakh, extending our unwavering support and solidarity to the Artsakh Armenians in their unyielding struggle for the indisputable right to live freely and safely in their homeland.
