Regarding the Extension of the EU Mission's Mandate on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border from Russia
Brussels dreams of pushing Russia out of the region. This was stated by the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, in response to the extension of the EU mission's mandate on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“We are aware of Brussels' desire to intervene in the process of normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku by any means. This is necessary for the West to strengthen its presence in the region. Moscow does not comment on the possibility of extending the European mission's mandate on the borders of the two countries; however, this topic will be periodically discussed with Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Zakharova wrote.
