Pashinyan Hosts Toivo Klaar: Key Topic Meeting Focused on Armenia-Azerbaijan Relations
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has received Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, as reported by the Prime Minister's Office of Armenia.
The discussions centered on the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, recent developments concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as issues related to the rights and security guarantees of the Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh.
They exchanged views on regional security, peace and stability issues, the border demarcation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the unblocking of regional transport infrastructures. Both parties emphasized the importance of the EU's civilian mission deployment in Armenia and addressed the mission's activities.
Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the significance of further discussions in accordance with the format of the meeting held in Prague.
