Iran's Stance on Changes to Regional Geographic Boundaries
The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Brigadier General Ali Fadavi, has stated that Iran does not accept any changes to the geographic boundaries of the region. This was reported by the Mehr agency.
Referring to the recent military exercises conducted by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps along the northern borders in coordination with Azerbaijan, the deputy commander emphasized that Iran's rejection of any alteration to regional boundaries is a principled policy.
"Disputes over borders between countries should not lead to changes in regional geography. This is a crucial issue, and we insist on it," he stated.
