State Final Examination Dates Announced

The schedule and procedures for state final examinations have been established by the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia. The procedures regulate the process of knowledge testing in the 4th grades of general education institutions, the final examinations in the 9th grade, and the state final examinations in the 12th grade, which include the registration, organization, conduct, assessment, publication of results, and appeals related to the examinations.

In the 4th grade, knowledge testing will take place in the following subjects:

• Native Language: written (test).
• Mathematics: written (test).
• For students in Russian-language classes, also: Russian Language: oral during the examination period.
• For national minority classes: also in their native language and literature: oral during the examination period.

The test tasks for knowledge evaluation (at least 4 variants) are prepared by the institution’s methodical units based on the samples developed by the National Center for Educational Technologies.

The knowledge testing in the 4th grades starts from the first working day of June and continues for 15 days.

9th-grade students will take final examinations in the following subjects:

• Armenian Language: written test.
• Literature: oral.
• History of Armenia: oral.
• Mathematics: written.
• Natural Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography - elected by the student): written (test).
• Foreign Language (Russian, English, French, German, etc. - elected by the student): oral.
• Physical Education: during the examination period (normative examination).

For students from Russian-language classes, knowledge assessment will also be held in Russian Literature during the examination period. Knowledge assessment for students from national minority classes will also take place in
