Azerbaijan Presents Third Package of Comments to Armenia: Bayramov
Azerbaijan has presented a draft peace agreement to Armenia. This was announced on December 5 by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a press conference with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, as reported by TASS.
“Azerbaijan has prepared a draft agreement based on five fundamental principles and presented it to the Armenian side, after which two rounds of negotiations have taken place. I would also like to inform you that the third package of comments from the Azerbaijani side is already available and has been submitted to the Armenian side,” he said.
As noted by the Azerbaijani foreign minister, the third round of negotiations between the republics may take place before the end of 2022. According to Bayramov, Azerbaijan aims to resolve the conflict with Armenia as soon as possible.
