Will the 'Wagner Group' be Recognized as a Terrorist Organization? A Bill has been Introduced in the U.S. Congress
American senators have introduced a bill that mandates the U.S. State Department to designate the Russian 'Wagner' private military company (PMC) as a foreign terrorist organization. According to a statement released on Senator Roger Wicker's website, a similar initiative will be discussed in the House of Representatives.
The leaders of the Wagner Group are currently under EU sanctions, but so far only Estonia has recognized the group as a terrorist organization.
