EU Reports Ukraine's Casualties Since the War Began
Since the start of the war, the Ukrainian armed forces have lost 100,000 personnel. This information was shared by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in a video message posted on Twitter. She noted that more than 20,000 civilian lives have also been lost.
Von der Leyen emphasized that Russia must be held accountable for its horrific crimes. "For this reason, in support of the International Criminal Court, we propose to establish a specialized court, backed by the UN, to investigate and condemn the crimes of aggression committed by Russia," the European Commission President stated.
