Auroranews.am has received reports that police have cordoned off the area around the Rio Mall shopping center. There is also an ambulance present at the scene. A citizen mentioned that people are being evacuated from the building.

We contacted the Police, who stated that officers are conducting operations within their jurisdiction in the specified area. When asked if an emergency incident had been recorded, they confirmed that police are indeed conducting actions within their mandated authority.

Auroranews.am also reached out to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which indicated that they had not received any alerts about the situation. However, information has circulated in the media suggesting that a bomb has been planted in the shopping center. It is important to note that the Ministry of Emergency Situations has not received any such alarm.
