This is a very acute issue that needs attention: Putin on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan
I hope that the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be signed. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit of the leaders of CSTO member countries taking place in Yerevan.
He noted that the resolution of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict is at the forefront of CSTO's attention.
“Today we will discuss the complex of issues regarding the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Naturally, this is a very acute issue that needs attention. In this regard, we positively assess the tripartite meeting held at the end of October in Sochi, during which agreements were reached concerning peace in the South Caucasus, delimitation, and unblocking that will ultimately lead to the signing of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku,” said the Russian leader.
