Hamas Calls on Azerbaijan to Refrain from Opening Embassy in Israel
The Palestinian group Hamas has urged Azerbaijan to refrain from opening an embassy in Israel. Hamas representative Bassem Naim expressed regret that Azerbaijan has recently decided to open an embassy in Tel Aviv. He called on the country to abandon this action and to support the Palestinian people's struggle for freedom and independence, as reported by Azerbaijani media.
