Family Members Murdered in Pemzashen Buried
In the village of Pemzashen, Shirak province, 31-year-old Zarine Meliksetyan and her children, a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son, were buried after being brutally murdered on November 9. This was reported to News.am by a fellow villager.
It is recalled that Zarine Meliksetyan and her two minor children were discovered dead at their home in Pemzashen. The bodies showed signs of wounds from sharp cutting and stabbing tools. They were also found to be bound.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 155, Part 1 (murder) and Part 2, Point 5 (murder of a minor) of the Criminal Code. Four days after the murder, there are no suspects and no official theory of the case. The police have appealed to the public for support and cooperation, stating that anyone providing information about the murder will receive a monetary reward.
