Pashinyan on Meeting with Erdogan
Overall, I had a positive impression from the meeting with the President of Turkey. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during an interview on Public Television.
“It is very important to note that our statements during both the phone conversation and the meeting were not mutually exclusive. This does not mean that either we or Turkey have abandoned any of our positions at the negotiation table,” he said.
According to him, if there is consistent work, political will, and desire, then those statements can be reconciled, which means the normalization of relations.
Recall that the meeting between Pashinyan and Erdogan took place on October 6 in Prague.
