Iran Warns Saudi Arabia Not to Test Tehran's Patience
The head of Iran's intelligence and Minister of Information, Ismail Khatib, has warned Saudi Arabia that Tehran does not guarantee its enduring patience regarding the escalation of the situation in the country.
“Any instability in Iran could also spread to the countries of the region. Until now, Iran has adhered to strategic patience for good reason, but it gives no guarantees that it will maintain that if hostile actions continue,” Khatib's statements were quoted by Fars Agency.
This warning is related to the anti-Iranian activities of the Saudi-owned Iran International television channel, whose employees are involved in propaganda activities within Iran among the youth, calling for protests.
For over a month and a half, unrest has persisted in Iran, sparked by the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in mid-September after she was arrested by the morality police.
