Iran Summons Azerbaijani Ambassador: The Reason is Known
The Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran, Ali Alizadeh, has been summoned to the Iranian Foreign Ministry. This information was reported by IRNA.
According to the news agency, the reason is anti-Iranian propaganda in Azerbaijani media. The assistant to the Foreign Minister and the Director General for Eurasia expressed Iran's dissatisfaction and strong protest regarding unfriendly statements towards the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Azerbaijani ambassador. The ambassador, expressing regret over the situation, stated that he would convey Iran's protest to Baku immediately.
