Iran Develops First Hypersonic Ballistic Missile
General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force, announced on November 10 that the country has developed its first hypersonic ballistic missile.
“Iran has developed a hypersonic ballistic missile intended for countering anti-aircraft defense systems. This new missile will penetrate through all air defense systems,” the commander’s statements were quoted by the Fars news agency.
Hajizadeh added, “This missile is aimed at the enemy’s anti-missile systems and represents a significant leap in the field of missile development.”
