Araik Harutyunyan Interrogated: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports that according to its sources, Araik Harutyunyan, the President of Artsakh, has been interrogated in connection with the criminal proceedings against former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Lieutenant General Mikayel Arzumanyan.

Furthermore, according to our sources, Generals from the Artsakh Defense Army have arrived in Yerevan and met with the leaders of the law enforcement agencies to discuss the issue of Arzumanyan's release, arguing that it is unfair for him to be the only one in custody. It should be noted that the series of confrontations in the criminal proceedings continues, with the investigative body inviting commanders of the Artsakh Defense Army and other individuals for questioning and confrontations with the former commander of the Defense Army.

Typically, confrontations occur when discrepancies arise in the testimonies of individuals involved in a criminal case. It is important to highlight that Arzumanyan was detained on September 1 and remains in custody to this day. Additionally, it was reported that prior to charging him, Seyran Ohanyan, an MP and leader of the 'Hayastan' faction, was also interrogated as a witness.
