Details on the Murder of a Mother and Her Children in Pemzashen

The Shirak Regional Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee is taking necessary measures to uncover the murder of a resident of the village of Pemzashen and her two children. This was reported by the Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

A report was received on November 9, 2022, at 12:28 PM regarding the residents of house 10 on 1st Street in Pemzashen not responding to knocks on the door and phone calls. An operational group immediately went to the address, and upon opening the door, they discovered the bodies of the residents of the house: a 31-year-old woman born in 1991, her daughter born on December 7, 2010, and her son born on June 12, 2014, all with stab wounds.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 1 of Article 155 and Part 2, Clauses 5 and 6 of Article 155 of the RA Criminal Code. Within this framework, urgent and extensive investigative actions have been carried out, including an examination of the crime scene, during which blood-like traces were found and samples were taken. Forensic examinations have been ordered to determine the nature, severity, and mechanism of the victims' injuries, as well as several other circumstances.

Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident, the identity of the perpetrator, and several other issues. Assignments have been given to the investigative body, and the preliminary investigation is ongoing.
