VIDEO: There Are Areas Where Enemy Positions and Soldiers’ Faces Are Visible, Says Deputy from the Civil Contract Party
We visited the border sections near Jermuk, observed firsthand what is happening and are monitoring the border activities. This was stated today, on November 8, by the Deputy from the Civil Contract Party, Armen Khachatryan, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly.
“Yes, there are places where the enemy's positions can be seen both with binoculars and with the naked eye. Yes, there is visibility, but from the section where the border ends. The enemy's positions are visible from all locations, and in Khoznavar, we have a spot where the distance between positions is just a few meters, the faces of the soldiers can be seen,” said Khachatryan.
Regarding Azerbaijan's construction of a military base in Berdzor and potential threats, Khachatryan noted, “Threats are always present; Azerbaijan currently holds such a military advantage that it constitutes a threat to Armenia. The construction of a military base doesn’t change much; the military balance has been disrupted from the very beginning.”
Armen Khachatryan pointed out that the EU observers carrying out a monitoring mission on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border have recorded that there has been an occupation by Azerbaijan, which will have legal consequences.
