Scholz Addresses Energy Crisis Humorously, Twitter Users Outraged
The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, has sparked outrage among Germans with a joke made during an interaction with citizens, reports the German portal Focus Online. While answering questions from the audience, he humorously referred to the topic of the energy crisis.
“Recently, a man approached me and said: ‘Mr. Scholz, I just replaced my electric stove with a gas stove.’ I didn’t know how sad I should look,” said the Chancellor, laughing.
Twitter users did not understand what exactly was funny to Scholz. Many noted that he displayed very poor conduct.
