Our City’s Greenery Is Quite Limited, Says Mayor

“I would like to thank all the people who have contributed since 2019 to ensure that we can truly have a good tree planting program in Yerevan community, meaning we won’t just plant trees and then wonder what to do with them later. A major irrigation pipeline has been replaced over 4 km, and about 4 km of the internal network has been changed, so everything has been done, and new tree planting has been carried out,” said Yerevan Mayor Hakob Sargsyan during a working consultation.

This approach needs to be maintained: “Our city’s greenery is indeed quite limited; we need to apply conceptual approaches.”
