Immoral Step: Zakharova

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has described the voting of Western countries on the United Nations General Assembly resolution against the political hypocrisy of glorifying Nazism as an immoral step.

Earlier, Grigori Lukyantsev, the Deputy Director of the Human Rights, Democracy, and Rule of Law Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told reporters that Italy, Austria, and Germany voted against the Russian resolution aimed at combating the glorification of Nazism for the first time on Friday during the meeting of the third committee of the UN General Assembly.

“Only immoral figures can call into question its essence,” the diplomat wrote on his Telegram channel.
