Erdogan on Sweden and Finland
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that approval for Sweden and Finland's NATO membership is contingent upon their actions. This was reported by Interfax.
On Friday, the Turkish leader discussed this issue with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg during his visit to Turkey.
The situation in Ukraine was also addressed during the conversation. Erdogan emphasized the necessity of resuming negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in order to halt the conflict as soon as possible.
