Russia's Security Council Secretary Meets with Armenian and Azerbaijani Counterparts: Discussion Highlights Revealed
The press service of the Russian Security Council reports that Nikolai Patrushev, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, held bilateral meetings with his Azerbaijani and Armenian counterparts in Moscow, where regional security issues were among various topics of discussion.
The negotiations took place within the framework of the 10th annual meeting of the secretaries of the CIS security councils in the Russian capital.
During the discussions with Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, a wide range of issues concerning Russian-Armenian cooperation in national and regional security were addressed, as well as matters regarding cooperation within the CSTO framework.
In talks with Azerbaijani counterpart Ramil Usubov, a number of security issues in the region were reviewed, along with further measures for Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the fields of information security and counter-terrorism.
