Mother See Comments on Reports Regarding Karekin II's Participation in Opposition Rally

Today, there were publications in the media suggesting that His Holiness Karekin II, the Catholicos of All Armenians, might participate in the opposition rally scheduled for November 5. In an interview with Aysor.am, Father Esayi Khachatryan, the director of the information system of the Mother See, stated that in response to a request from the organizers, Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan will participate in the rally with the blessing of the Supreme Patriarch, as previously notified.

Regarding the circulating reports about the participation of His Holiness, Father Esayi Khachatryan stated, “There are no such plans.”
