During a recent meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, Russian President Vladimir Putin shared a joke he heard from a friend in Germany. According to a report by Vzglyad:
“A family is sitting together. The son asks his father:
- Dad, why is it so cold?
- Because Russia has attacked Ukraine.
- And what does that have to do with us?
- Well, we imposed sanctions against the Russians.
- Why?
- So that it would be bad for them.
- And what about us, are we Russians?”
