Ruben Vardanyan Posts About Accepting Minister Position
Businessman Ruben Vardanyan has posted on Facebook, stating that he is ready to accept the position of Minister of State of Artsakh if the approaches and decisions proposed by them have broad support.
In the post, he mentions: “I have received an offer from the President of Artsakh to take on the position of Minister of State. The salvation of Artsakh is the main purpose of my life today. I have moved here to do everything possible for the preservation and development of this Armenian civilization’s homeland alongside my compatriots. Today, the existence of Artsakh is at risk. We Armenians are living through our second Sardarapat, as our future as a nation is on the altar.
In this unprecedented situation, we all require difficult solutions. We must forget personal grievances and ambitions and unite all healthy forces both in Artsakh and throughout the Armenian world, with a clear understanding of the seriousness of the challenges we face.
I have carefully considered the President’s offer. I will be ready to accept it if the approaches and decisions we propose have broad support. I must be convinced that people accept my vision of the situation and that we are ready to overcome all the difficulties that will arise on our way to achieving our goal. Only then will my appointment have meaning.
In the coming days, I will continue my communications with the people, after which I will be able to make a responsible decision.”
It is worth noting that earlier today, the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, announced that he had offered Ruben Vardanyan the post of Minister of State of Artsakh.
