Pelosi's Visit Was Very Important, But It Should Not Be Considered Anti-Russian: Pashinyan
The visit of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was very important, as she was the highest-ranking official to ever visit Armenia; however, this visit should not be regarded as anti-Russian. This statement was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a public broadcast.
He noted, 'This step was aimed at deepening Armenian-American relations, and yes, it should not be underestimated. But what anti-Russian sentiments are you talking about? Frankly, I see no connection and do not observe such sentiments.'
Pashinyan reminded that a strategic dialogue between Armenia and the United States began in 2019, and during the meetings held within the framework of this visit, issues concerning the activation of relations between the two countries were discussed.
