Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Russia, Iran, and Turkey Held
Under the framework of the 'Astana Process' aimed at promoting the resolution of the Syrian crisis, a meeting of the foreign ministers of Turkey, Iran, and Russia took place in New York, according to irna.ir.
On Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian participated in the Astana format meeting of foreign ministers concerning Syria. The meeting was held in the context of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, with the participation of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
During the negotiations, the parties emphasized the necessity of continuing diplomatic efforts in all areas to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
