Erdogan Announces Completion of Azerbaijan's 'Military Operation' on Armenian Border
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has announced the completion of the so-called 'military operation' by Azerbaijan on the border with Armenia.
Returning from Samarkand, the Turkish leader informed reporters that he received this information from his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev.
Erdogan stated that there is no point in discussing what has already concluded. "Our Azerbaijani brothers have now moved to a secure position," he added.
"We want the processes aimed at stabilizing the situation in our region to conclude successfully, and that peace and stability are long-lasting," Erdogan said.
It is worth noting that on September 13, starting at 00:05, Azerbaijani armed forces began intense shelling towards Armenian positions in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk using artillery and large-caliber firearms. The adversary is also employing drones.
