Video: A Peaceful Resident's Home in Verishen Village; Tatoyan Publishes Footage

The home of a peaceful resident in Verishen village of Syunik province, Armenia, has been destroyed as a result of an Azerbaijani targeted armed attack that occurred during the night, wrote former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, on his Facebook page.

“Azerbaijan has struck the village with missiles, as confirmed by local residents. At 1:20 AM, one missile directly hit the house, and two missiles landed immediately next to the house. Residents were inside at the time of the attack and survived only by a miracle.

There is no military unit or armed facility within several kilometers of the neighborhood. The facts indicate that this is an evident war crime aimed at killing people and destroying a civilian settlement. International organizations are obligated to respond appropriately to prevent Azerbaijani crimes and genocidal policies,” wrote Tatoyan.
