Police Patrol Service Issues Announcement
The Police Patrol Service of the Republic of Armenia will conduct enhanced operations to maintain public order and ensure road traffic safety in the vicinity of schools and streets in Yerevan and other regions at the beginning of the new academic year. This was stated by the head of the Patrol Service, Police Colonel Arthur Umrshatyan.
“On September 1, the new academic year begins. The Patrol Service will be implementing intensified measures to maintain public order and ensure road safety near schools and streets throughout the capital and regions. The goal is clear: to ensure the safety of children. We urge drivers to adhere to traffic rules and avoid speeding in school zones. Parents and educators are also called upon to remain vigilant regarding children’s safety. I congratulate everyone on the start of the new academic year and wish them success,” the head of the Patrol Service emphasized.
