US Urges Citizens to Leave Ukraine

The State Department has information that Russia is intensifying efforts to strike civilian infrastructure and government facilities in Ukraine in the coming days. This was announced by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

“Russian strikes in Ukraine pose an ongoing threat to civilians and civil infrastructure. The U.S. Embassy urges American citizens to leave Ukraine now using private ground transportation if it is safe to do so,” the statement reads.

The advisory also noted that the security situation across Ukraine is highly unstable, and conditions could deteriorate without warning. U.S. citizens should remain vigilant and take appropriate steps to enhance their awareness of security.
