Vehicle Rolls 15 Meters Off Road, Resulting in Fatality
On August 17, at 23:12, the Gegharkunik regional crisis management center received information regarding a traffic accident on the 37th kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni highway, requiring the assistance of rescuers.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a 'Grand Cherokee' vehicle, driven by H. M. (born in 1975), had veered off the roadway, rolled approximately 15 meters, and ended up in a nearby ravine.
The passenger, S. S. (born in 1959), was hospitalized in Gavar and later transferred to Yerevan's Erebouni Medical Center, where the victim succumbed to their injuries.
The rescuers managed to pull the vehicle out of the ravine and return it to the roadway.
