Turkey Ready to Take Under Its Patronage the Reconstruction of Kharkiv Region: Zelensky
Turkey is ready to take under its patronage the reconstruction of the Kharkiv region. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky following a meeting in Lviv with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the UN Secretary-General.
“I held very substantive negotiations with the President of Turkey on many topics today. Thank you to Turkey for its willingness to take the reconstruction of Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region under its patronage. This is indeed a mission for a really powerful country. Today, the first step has been taken — a memorandum regarding infrastructure has been signed,” Zelensky stated in a video message posted on his Telegram channel.
Speaking about the situation around the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, he noted that there are no objective obstacles preventing the IAEA mission from reaching the site.
“Today, we discussed the parameters of this mission with Mr. Guterres, so that it can reach the station quickly and safely through legal routes in our state's free territory. And only that way,” he said.
