Car Catching Fire Near the Government Residence

The National Center for Crisis Management received information on August 17 at 18:43 that a car was burning at the intersection of Proshyan and Demirchyan streets in Yerevan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting unit from the Emergency Situations Department's Yerevan rescue team was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained at 18:53 and extinguished at 18:57. The engine compartment and interior of a Ford Transit vehicle were burned.
